Jim retired from the US Navy in 1995. As an aircraft electrician, he repaired F-14A Tomcats at home and overseas, aboard US Naval Carriers. His love of music and electronics culminated in 1992 in Atlanta Ga., when his first "Marshall" blew up! After seeing local techs cry when he brought in a Marshall amp with wires "HANGING" in the air, he decided to learn himself!!

He has modded amps for national recording star and guitarist for Pablo Cruise "Ken Benoit". Countless local musicians, and players across the US, have crossed paths in the never ending search for someone who knows how to "FIX MY AMP"!!!
